Insurance & Fees
Step 1: Verify Your Coverage
Use the links below to check if your insurance is in-network:
For Cigna, use Wildflower.
For all other plans, use The Lactation Network (TLN).
*Complete the pre-approval process online before your visit.
Step 2: Receive Confirmation
Once approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email and can proceed to book your visit.
Step 3: Explore Payment Options
If insurance coverage isn’t approved:
Self-pay rates are available.
We can provide a superbill for you to request reimbursement from your insurance.
Step 4: Prepare for Payment
Payment is due at the time of your visit (credit card or HSA/FSA accepted).
Sliding scale rates are available for families experiencing financial hardship.
Important Considerations
Certain insurance plans cover 80%-100% of lactation services.
A travel fee applies to all home visits, regardless of insurance coverage or self-pay.
Other Fees:
Twin initial = $100
Twin Follow up = $50
Weekend/Holiday fee = $40
Emergency Fee = $50

Additional Fees
Travel Fees
Travel fees apply to home visits and are based on the distance from Seton Southwest Hospital (see map):
Less than 6 miles: Free
7–11 miles: $15
12–20 miles: $30
21–30 miles: $50
31+ miles: $65
These fees are in addition to the cost of the visit and are not covered by The Lactation Network, Wildflower Health and Aetna.
Other Fees:
